What are rubbing compounds?

Rubbing compounds are abrasive materials used to smooth out and restore paint finishes by removing surface imperfections such as scratches, oxidation, and stains. They are typically used before polishing to prepare the surface for a finer finish.

A polishing compound is a product used to refine the surface of car paint after using a rubbing compound. It contains finer abrasives that help enhance the shine and gloss of the paint, giving it a smooth and polished appearance.

To apply polishing and rubbing compounds, follow these steps:

High speed buffer

  1. Dust off or wash your car to get rid of any dirt or dust particles
  2. Following steps to be done starting from the roof, proceeding to the hood, trunk and sides
  3. Apply a small amount of the product directly on the painted surface or on every quadrant of the polishing pad
  4. Buff a 2’x2’ area by keeping the polishing pad flat on the surface, and applying even pressure until the product is dry
  5. Remove the residue with clean soft microfiber

Orbital Buffer / Hand

  1. Apply product evenly over a painted surface with a moist polishing bonnet or applicator sponge.
  2. Use even pressure in circular motion to remove swirls and minor scratches and allow it to dry to haze.
  3. Remove the residue with clean soft microfiber

To remove scratches from painted surfaces, use Jopasu Scratch Remover. Apply the product, then gently rub it onto the scratched area in a circular motion. Continue until the scratch diminishes. Wipe off any residue with a clean microfiber cloth and inspect the surface.

Use Jopasu Scratch Remover as follows:

  1. Apply small amount of product directly on painted surface
  2. Rub the compound directly with finger or a plain cloth till the scratch smoothens out. Repeat the process until you get the desired result
  3. Remove residue with clean, microfiber cloth.

Use Jopasu Clearvision compound to remove the scratches from windshield. Clearvision is a very aggressive diamond cut compound from Arihant series. This unique formulation is an ultra-fine powder specially prepared for glass cutting and cleaning.

  1. First of all, clean the windshield with Jopasu Glass Cleaner
  2. Take small amount of powder in hand and mix the power with water
  3. Apply it on the windshield wherever there are marks
  4. Buff it with felt pad nicely @1000 rpm for 1 hour
  5. After buffing wipe off with Jopasu Magic Wipe.
  1. For best results, work on your car off sunlight.
  2. Spray product directly on the surface to be cleaned.
  3. Allow solution to reside on surface for one minute.
  4. Agitate the sprayed area with a brush.
  5. Pressure rinses the surface.
  6. Wipe with Magic Wipe (Microfibre).
  7. If the stains still persist repeat the procedure again.
  1. Prior to applying the product, thoroughly clean tire with Jopasu General Purpose Cleaner and tire brush, then pressure rinse and wipe dry.
  2. Put small amount of product on Jopasu Applicator Pad
  3. Apply product evenly to tire with pad
  4. Allow tires to dry thoroughly before moving the vehicle

GSM stands for grams per square meter, which indicates the density and quality of microfiber cloths. A higher GSM means thicker and more absorbent microfiber, which is better for detailing and cleaning tasks.

A car duster, such as the Jopasu Car Duster, is a tool designed to remove dust and light dirt from your vehicle’s surface without scratching the paint. It uses specially treated fibers to lift and trap dust.

  1. Shake the Duster vigorously before and after use.
  2. Wipe the car’s surface from top to down.
  3. Do NOT use the Duster on wet surface.

Notes

  1. Washing is recommended only when the Duster stops picking up dust.
  2. When not in use, always keep the duster inside its bag.
  3. Do not use the duster on glass surface (instead use microfiber & glass cleaner).
  1. Wash the duster by any laundry detergent and dry well
  2. By holding the duster in one hand, spray duster rejuvenator at least 50 times
  3. Repeat steps (b) & (c) for two more times (spraying overall 150 times)

To remove tough stains, use Jopasu General Purpose Cleaner. Spray the cleaner onto the stained area and allow it to dwell for a few minutes. Scrub gently with a soft brush or cloth, then wipe away the residue with a clean, damp cloth.

Use Jopasu Car Duster and Dry Wash to clean your car without water. Clean the car with Jopasu Car Duster and Spray the product onto the surface, allowing it to encapsulate and lift dirt. Wipe away the dirt and product with a clean microfiber cloth for a waterless, eco-friendly clean.
